Family Violence Intervention

Redirect Counseling Services is a state certified Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV). Our program is designed to help individuals take responsibility and accountability for their thinking, feeling, and behaviors. We offer gender specific programs serving males and females separately. 

Duration: 24 weeks - 1.5 hours per week

1. Intake Assessment - You will talk with one of our FVIP certified counselors and discuss your past use of violence and set up your class schedule.  This takes about 30-45 minutes.  By appointment only.  Must bring a Criminal Background Check (available at the Sheriff's Office) and an incident report from the arresting agency (if you have been arrested for Family Violence).  Cost is $50
2. Orientation - A short 1 hour class where you are briefed on the rules and regulations of attending classes at Redirect.  This is required for all programs (except DUI and Def Driving). Cost $30, this includes the cost of your manual.
   
3. Classes - We offer classes on Monday and Thursdays for our male clients and Wednesdays for our Female clients.  We have both morning and evening classes available to fit all schedules.  Cost: $25 per week
