Substance Abuse Programs
Redirect Counseling Services believes that alcohol and drug problems begin innocently with social and experimental use, and progress to abusive use and then to dependence, which is accelerated if certain genetic factors are present. We offer both educational and intensive SA outpatient services based on individual needs for adults and juveniles.
Redirect uses a variety of treatment modalities to address clients’ specific needs through individual, group and family counseling. Twelve-Step and other self-help groups are also highly recommended while respecting individual spiritual/religious beliefs. Drug testing is provided on-site for clients enrolled in our programs.
Programs Available
Level 1 Short Term (6-12 weeks) "Substance Abuse Educational Program" - 9 weeks @ 2 hours one day a week. Cost: $30 per week
Level 1 Long Term (17-52 weeks) "17 week program" - min 17 weeks @ 3 hours one day a week. Cost: $35 per week
(Length of enrollment is based on progress)
Long Term Intensive Outpatient Program (This program is only for probationers)- 52 weeks, 3 days a week for 17 weeks, 2 days for 17 more (34 total), 1 day for 18 weeks. Cost: $45 per week
Enrollment Process
- Intake - Once you have a Clinical Evaluation or Substance Abuse assessment, the evaluator will transfer your paperwork to the treatment provider. We will work with you to find a class that fits your schedule and satisfies the recommendation made by the evaluator. Cost $50 (fee waived if you have your evaluation/assessment at Redirect).
- Orientation - A short 1 hour class where you are briefed on the rules and regulations of attending classes at Redirect. This is required for all programs (except DUI and Def Driving). Cost $30, this includes the cost of your manual.
- Classes - We offer classes Monday thru Thursday in the evenings so you can still work during the day.
